Hi, I'm

Professional Translator, Transcriber, and Linguistic Researcher

About Me

Meet Habib Sani Yahaya

I work where translation, research, and cultural understanding meet. My focus is Hausa and English, and I help organisations communicate clearly across language and context. This includes NGOs, research groups, development programs, and teams that need accuracy and discretion. My work is guided by a simple idea: meaning only matters when it reaches people as intended. Many materials fail because they overlook cultural nuance or depend on literal translation. I start each project by understanding its purpose, its audience, and the points where misunderstanding is most likely to occur.

Who I Work With

I work with organisations that need clarity across Hausa-speaking communities and cannot afford misunderstanding. Many of my clients operate in fields where accuracy influences decisions, policies, and real outcomes. They rely on translation and linguistic research that respects context and reflects how people actually speak and understand information.

My work is suited for
• NGOs running community programs or field research
• Researchers collecting or analysing interviews and qualitative data
• Development teams preparing reports, training materials, or public communication
• Institutions working on education, social impact, or documentation
• Teams building language technology or datasets that require cultural insight

These groups choose me because they need steady, careful work that goes beyond literal translation and reflects the realities of Hausa-speaking communities.
